The Joy of the Lord is our strength.
A TESTIMONY FROM ONE OF OUR CLIENTS: In April 2015, my twin daughters were in a tragic car accident. Sarah died as a result of injuries from that accident and MaryAnne suffered a traumatic brain injury. I left my job and moved to North Carolina to support her during her recovery. In November I took a part-time job as a cashier at a Target store in Durham. Working did keep me occupied but some days were worse than others. On one of the harder days, Michelle B. came through my line and asked me what brought me to the area. Crying, I told her my story. She was so empathetic and understanding to me. We talked about counseling and I told her that my counselor had just closed her practice. She was very concerned that I find another counselor and told me she would be in touch.
About a week later, Michelle came by the store to tell me about Abundant Joy. I believe Michelle befriending me that day was the divine intervention I needed. I contacted Abundant Joy and began regular counseling sessions with Lynn. Lynn and Beth have been so kind and helpful to me. With their support, I believe I am where I am today. Thank you to Abundant Joy for helping me during such a difficult time in my life! You are truly a blessing to me! Lisa
